NEES @ Reno

The University of Nevada, Reno (UNR)-NEES Equipment Site (http://nees.unr.edu): The UNR-NEES Site will be used for large full-scale system level experiments.

The required equipment consists of the three high performance biaxial shake tables. Each table has a payload capacity of 50 tons, a stroke capacity of ±12 in, a velocity capacity of 40in/s and is capable of reproducing high intensity ground motions. The tables will be configured in a straight line to accommodate the test bed structure (64’ long, 14’ wide and 26’ high). Standard instrumentation will be used.
